What is your favorite softball memory?
In an elimination game in the Triple Crown Sparker this year, we were down to our final out with two strikes on me, and I hit a grand slam to win the game for us to advance. That was so much fun, and one of three comeback victories for our team that day
Who inspired you to play softball?
My sister and dad. My sister Tatum, who recently committed to UAB, started playing when she was 7, and that gave me an interest in softball. My dad was our coach up until 14U and has always supported and inspired me to play at the highest levels of the game.

Who is your favorite softball player?
Aubrey Evans from UCF. She is so clutch and plays with a toughness and edge that I admire.
What life lesson has softball taught you?
To consistently work hard for what you want. Nothing is given to you and what you do when no one is looking pays you back the most. Also, keep getting up from failure. There will be a lot of failures in life, just like in softball; it is important to learn from them and keep growing
What is your dream job?
Something involving sports, likely a sports nutritionist or a sports psychologist. Playing professional softball would be cool, too!
Scouting Report on Kreinus:
Zoey’s combination of offensive production and defensive leadership puts her in the conversation as one of the top catchers in the 2027 class. Her 1.68 pop time and 70 mph arm velo rank among the very best. She is a great receiver of the ball, stealing countless strikes. She keeps pitchers in rhythm and fires them up with consistent glove pop. She is a wall behind the plate, routinely saving runs and keeping runners from advancing bases. Zoey is also a top offensive contributor on the team, hitting third or fourth in a very talented lineup. Her ability to hit the gaps with power leads to a ton of offensive production. While Zoey brings an impressive physical skillset, her intangibles are off the charts. She consistently shows up day after day playing arguably the toughest position in the sport and being asked catch a lot of innings. She caught 180 innings this summer after 143 innings in her high school season. Her ability to maintain a high level of offensive and defensive production is truly a testament to her preparation, practice habits, love for the game, and offseason work.
