2025 OL Dontrell Glover commits to Alabama
For the second time this month, an offensive lineman out of Georgia has joined Alabama’s 2025 class.
Following Mason Short’s commitment to Bama on April 2, Fairburn (Ga.) product Dontrell Glover announced his pledge to the Crimson Tide moments ago. Glover chose Alabama over an offer sheet that also features Georgia, LSU, Miami, South Carolina, and others.
His commitment comes after a multi-day visit to Tuscaloosa last week.
“Alabama is one of those top programs, they’re always going to be a top-25 team,” Glover told On3’s Jeremy Johnson in February. “They produce linemen and put them in the league. It shows a lot in what they do. They run the ball a lot.”

The Crimson Tide dished out an offer to Glover on Dec. 3, 2022. Glover shared his reaction to the offer with Johnson, noting that he looks up to a former Bama offensive lineman.

“I was excited,” Glover told Johnson of the offer. “I still have to get better at certain parts of the game… Alabama is a great program. It’s a winning team and that’s the culture. I think they’re going to keep that going for many years. Evan Neal is an offensive tackle that I look up to in the league. Alabama is a school that just produces good athletes.”
It’s worth noting that Glover attends Langston Hughes High School. That’s home to 2024 athlete Jakob Gude, who made his way out to Alabama last week as well.
