Alabama Football Recruiting Q&A: Three weeks from the Early Signing Period

The University of Alabama is in the final stages of the 2026 recruiting cycle. The Early Signing Period begins on December 3-5. The Crimson Tide doesn’t expect much drama leading up to the recruits’ signing day ceremonies, though there are a few prospects still to watch, including one who is coming off an official visit.
The final month before National Signing Day was once known as ‘closing time.’ Many prospects would take their final visits and/or host coaches for in-home visits before signing on the first Wednesday in February. The Early Signing Period shifted the date, but not the visits and final pitches while sitting at the dinner table with a coach hoping for a future signature.
