Alabama Football will honor three championship teams during 2025 season

Alabama is set to recognize three championship teams during the 2025 football season.
On Monday, the Crimson Tide announced that single-game tickets for select home games will go on sale Tuesday, July 8, and in the release, Alabama shared its celebration schedule.
The Tide will honor its 1975 SEC Championship team with a 50-year reunion for the Wisconsin game on September 13, its 2015 national championship team with a 10-year reunion for the Tennessee game on October 18 and the 1965 national title team with a 60-year reunion for the Oklahoma game – which is also the Homecoming game – on November 15.
The national championship teams will be honored before two of the biggest home games.
Alabama won its 16th national title in 2015, which marked the fourth under head coach Nick Saban. Led by Heisman Trophy-winning running back Derrick Henry, the Crimson Tide posted a 14-1 (7-1 SEC) record, losing to Ole Miss in the third game of the season, before winning the SEC, and beating Michigan State and Clemson in the College Football Playoff.

Alabama’s 1965 team was led by head coach Paul “Bear” Bryant and finished with a 9-1-1 (6-1-1 SEC) overall record. Sixty years ago, the Crimson Tide was crowned champions of the SEC before it defeated then-No. 3 Nebraska, 39-28, in the Orange Bowl on New Year’s Day. The ‘75 title marked the fourth of Bryant’s legendary coaching tenure in Tuscaloosa.
Six of Alabama’s 2025 home games will feature a recognition or celebration. The only one that does not will be the always-anticipated annual matchup with the LSU Tigers on November 8.
