Alabama OL Kadyn Proctor among semifinalists for Outland Trophy

Alabama’s Kadyn Proctor was named a semifinalist for the Outland Trophy, the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA) announced Wednesday.
Proctor is one of seven semifinalists for the Outland, which is presented annually to the most outstanding interior lineman on offense or defense. The three finalists for the 2025 Outland Trophy will be announced on Tuesday, Nov. 25 before this year’s recipient is recognized as part of the Home Depot College Football Awards Show on Friday, Dec. 12.
Alabama has had six Outland winners in program history, including Chris Samuels (1999), Andre Smith (2008), Barrett Jones (2011), Cam Robinson (2016), Quinnen Williams (2018) and Alex Leatherwood (2020).

Left Tackle, Junior
- Anchors the left side of the Crimson Tide’s offensive line
- Started all 10 games at left tackle, helping Alabama to an 8-2 start and a 6-1 mark in Southeastern Conference play
- Provides key blocks for a Tide offensive attack that is averaging 403.4 yards of total offense and 31.6 points per game
- Garnered an 81.5 overall grade according to Pro Football Focus, the second-highest overall grade among SEC offensive tackles
- Allowed just one sack in 421 pass blocking snaps this season and has not allowed a sack in nine consecutive games since the Florida State contest
- Has also been utilized as a ball carrier, turning four carries into 15 rushing yards and three first downs
