Alabama bounced back from its disappointing Week 1 loss and took out its aggression on the ULM Warhawks by way of a 73-0 thumping. The Crimson Tide displayed much better effort and intensity in Week 2, as it out-gained the opposition by an impressive 583-148 margin.

Offensively, Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson was perfect in his second-ever start, completing all 17 of his passing attempts for 226 yards and three touchdowns. He also ran for one more in the second quarter. In that same quarter, however, the coaches gave Austin Mack a series with the first offense, something they have done before, most recently at Fresno State.

The Crimson Tide doesn’t appear to be satisfied and will look to sustain its success against the Warhawks when it welcomes Wisconsin to Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 13.
