Alabama RB Jam Miller exits Missouri game in fourth quarter

COLUMBIA, Mo. — Alabama running back Jam Miller exited Saturday’s game against Missouri after taking a hit to the head on a fourth-quarter catch. He went straight to the locker room.
Miller caught a pass from Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson on 4th and 1, but the hit he took on the Tigers’ sideline led him to drop the ball out of bounds and stay on the turf. Members of the Crimson Tide medical staff attended to Miller on the opposing sideline. The running back got to his feet and gingerly made his way to the visiting locker room with help from trainers.
Before his injury, Miller carried the ball a game-high 20 times for 85 yards, with a long run of 12 yards. The veteran tailback also caught four passes for 25 yards, including the conversion.
Alabama already lost wide receiver Derek Meadows to a big hit earlier in the road game.
