Alabama vs. Kent State: Live updates, score, highlights

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – No. 6 Alabama (9-2) will face Kent State (8-2) tonight in its 11th game of the 2024-25 campaign. The Crimson Tide will host the Golden Flashes at Coleman Coliseum at noon CT, and the non-conference game will be broadcast on SEC Network.
Alabama is looking to win 10 games in non-conference play for the second time under head coach Nate Oats and the first time since 2022-23. This will be the first team Alabama plays from the Mid-American Conference during Oats’ tenure after his six seasons at Buffalo.

Under coach Rob Senderoff, the Golden Flashes have won 13 games against Power 4 teams, including five true road victories. Kent State ranks No. 11 in scoring defense in the country, allowing 60.2 points per game, and have started 8-2 for the first time since 2019-20.
