BOL Recruiting Nuggets: The latest Alabama inside scoop

Alabama hopes to continue the recruiting momentum that its seen during the last few weeks. The wave of elite visitors will certainly continue. BOL takes a look at the biggest storylines from the last week and looks ahead to what’s ahead for the Crimson Tide.

More targets emerging at quarterback? The majority of recent discussions have centered on a pair of recruits who are currently committed elsewhere, JuJu Lewis (USC) and Deuce Knight (Notre Dame). Lewis and Knight remain in communication, but the Crimson Tide has also recently connected with a few other signal callers who rank among the Top 10. BOL has details including one who is committed elsewhere and the another with an upcoming decision.

Alabama recently had its running back targets on campus including AK Dear, Top 100 from Quitman High School in Mississippi and Jordon Davison, four-star from Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, Calif. Dawson Merritt, four-star LB from Blue Valley High School in Overland Park in Kansas, was also in T-Town last week. The latest on the trio including one who has scheduled an official visit next month.

The Crimson Tide has yet to add an offensive line commitment in the ’25 class. It did, however, host the No. 1 OL in the country this past weekend. David Sanders, five-star from Providence Day School in Charlotte, had a great return visit. Learn more about his trip, and a few other OL who will visit soon.

Notable targets such as Justus Terry, five-star DL from Manchester High School (Ga.) and Girard Pringle, Top 100 from Armwood High School in Seffner, Fla., announced decisions. Does the Tide still have a chance?

BOL also has the very latest details on Dijon Lee, Top 100 CB from Mission Viejo High School in Calif., and Faizon Brandon, ’26 No. 1 quarterback from Grimsley High School in Greensboro, N.C.

Alabama is hosting several recruits on Tuesday including one who might be on ‘commitment watch’.
