BOL Video: Alabama lands commitment from DL JJ Finch
Welcome back to the BamaOnLine Recruiting Show. Publisher Tim Watts and senior recruiting editor Andrew Bone are here to break down Alabama’s newest commitment in the 2026 class: defensive lineman JJ Finch.
Finch is a 6-foot-3, 280-pound defensive lineman from Warren Central High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. He’s considered a 3-star prospect according to the On3 Industry Rankings, coming in as a top-50 defensive lineman and a top-3 player in the state of Indiana.
He’s Alabama’s eighth commitment in the 2026 class and the second interior offensive lineman, joining 4-star Chris Booker. Other commitments include 5-star cornerback Jorden Edmonds, 4-star quarterback Jett Thomalla, 4-star cornerback Zyan Gibson, 4-star edge rusher Jamarion Matthews and 4-star defensive lineman Kamhariyan Johnson and 4-star offensive lineman Sam Utu.
