BOL Video: Alabama lands huge commitment from 5-star RB Ezavier Crowell
Welcome back to the BamaOnLine Recruiting Show. Publisher Tim Watts and senior recruiting editor Andrew Bone are here to break down Alabama’s newest commitment in the 2026 class: running back Ezavier Crowell.
Crowell is one of the top players in the state of Alabama, hailing from Jackson High School. The 5-foot-11, 210-pound running back is considered a top-3 player in the state according to the On3 Industry Rankings after rushing for nearly 2,000 yards and 31 touchdowns last season.

He’s considered a 5-star in the 2026 class, coming in as the No. 2 running back and the No. 31 overall player in the country. He chose Alabama over the likes of Auburn, Texas and Georgia.
Crowell becomes Alabama’s eleventh total commitment in the 2026 class and the second running back, joining 4-star Javari Barnett. Other commitments include 5-star cornerback Jorden Edmonds, 4-star quarterback Jett Thomalla, 4-star cornerback Zyan Gibson, 4-star edge rusher Jamarion Matthews, 4-star defensive lineman Kamhariyan Johnson, 4-star offensive linemen Chris Booker and Sam Utu, 3-star defensive lineman JJ Finch and 3-star safety Rihyael Kelley.
