The Southeastern Conference announced the 2026 football schedule and dates for all 16 member schools on Thursday night, including Alabama entering the third year under head coach Kalen DeBoer.

Coming into the reveal, the Crimson Tide’s opponents were already known. Alabama will open the season at home against East Carolina on Sept. 5, and two weeks later Florida State will come to Tuscaloosa to conclude a home-and-home series that began in 2025. The non-conference slate will conclude at home against Chattanooga on Nov. 21.

The 2026 season will be the first year of the SEC’s new 9-game conference schedule. Alabama will have home league games against Texas A&M, South Carolina, Georgia and Auburn, with road league games against Tennessee, LSU, Mississippi State, Vanderbilt and Kentucky.

Auburn, Tennessee and Mississippi State are Alabama’s annual opponents, while the other six league opponents will rotate yearly. The Crimson Tide will play this batch of six opponents again in 2028 with flipped locations, while facing the other six in 2027 and 2029.
