Final playoff projections, odds for Alabama after SEC title game loss

Alabama’s College Football Playoff hopes are in the hands of the selection committee after falling to 10-3 on the season with a 28-7 loss to Georgia in the SEC Championship Game on Saturday night.

According to ESPN, Alabama has an 83% chance to make the playoff after the loss. Sportsbooks continue to favor the Crimson Tide to make the 12-team field, with odds hovering around -350 around Sunday morning. The next closest team is Miami, with odds hovering around +160.

The selection show is set for 11 a.m. CT on ESPN, where the official bracket for the 2025 CFP will be revealed.
