Four Alabama players named preseason All-Americans by Sporting News

Four Alabama football players were named to the Sporting News’ 2025 preseason All-America team, the outlet publicly announced on Wednesday morning, including two on the first team.
Wide receiver Ryan Williams and defensive lineman Tim Keenan were tabbed as first-team All-Americans, while offensive linemen Kadyn Proctor and Jaeden Roberts earned second-team nods.
Alabama was tied with Clemson, Georgia and Ohio State with four players being recognized by Sporting News. The Crimson Tide, Tigers and Buckeyes each had two first-team selections. Texas led all schools with five preseason All-Americans, including three first-teamers.
Sporting News is one of five outlets used to determine consensus All-American status at the end of each college football season, along with the Associated Press, Football Writers Association of America, American Football Coaches Association and Walter Camp Foundation.
