How Alabama players performed at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine
Alabama’s 10-player contingent has concluded its time at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine.
Eight players took part in at least a portion of the on-field drills in Indianapolis, while two former Crimson Tide starters – cornerback Kool-Aid McKinstry and running back Jase McClellan – did not. During a medical evaluation, doctors found that McKinstry had a Jones fracture in his right foot, but he will repair it after Alabama’s Pro Day, according to ESPN.
Of the other eight Tide players who did participate in the drills at Lucas Oil Stadium, all but offensive tackle JC Latham and kicker Will Reichard ran the 40-yard dash. Edge rusher Dallas Turner had a strong showing by leading all defensive ends with a 4.46 in the 40 and a 40.5-inch vertical. Wide receiver Jermaine Burton had the third-best broad jump (11-1).
Some of the players will do more at the Tide’s Pro Day later this month, including McKinstry and McClellan. Alabama’s publicly televised pro day will take place on Wednesday, March 20.
