After starting the year 6-5 with three of those losses coming against current top-20 opponents, the Crimson Tide have now won five straight to get 11-5 (3-0 SEC) with the latest win coming on the road against a quality Mississippi State squad that’s currently 12-4 on the year.
So, who’s Alabama’s next opponent? That’d be an 8-8 Missouri team that’s currently winless in conference play. This drop off for the Tigers is somewhat surprising considering they were an NCAA Tournament team last season. I mean, Mizzou has now lost six of its last seven games, but at least the latest was only a 71-69 overtime loss to South Carolina.
