How to watch, listen to No. 17 Alabama at No. 5 Georgia
No. 17 Alabama has picked up two wins in a row since its season-opening loss, but it’s about to face its biggest test yet on Saturday as it hits the road to take on No. 5 Georgia.
Every time these two teams have met for the past near-decade it’s been with enormous stakes. Of the last nine meetings, four have been for the SEC championship and two have been for the national championship.
Last season’s meeting in Tuscaloosa was between top-5 teams, a game Alabama won on a 75-yard touchdown by Ryan Williams in the final minutes.
This year, Georgia has started the season 3-0, and like Alabama, is coming into this game off a bye. The Bulldogs cruised the first two weeks against Marshall and Austin Peay before needing to mount a double-digit comeback two weeks ago to beat Tennessee on the road in overtime.
This will be Alabama’s first time playing in Athens in a decade, the last time being a 38-10 thrashing during a rainstorm back in 2015.
