No. 21 Alabama got off to quite the disappointing start last week to begin its second year under head coach Kalen DeBoer, falling on the road to Florida State and starting the season 0-1 for the first time since 2001.

The Crimson Tide now heads back home with a chance to reset, welcoming in Louisiana-Monroe of the Sun Belt Conference for its home opener at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Longtime Alabama fans should remember the Warhawks well. Though the Tide has dominated recent meetings between the two schools, ULM pulled off a monumental upset back in 2007, Nick Saban‘s first season in Tuscaloosa, which was also the last time Alabama lost to an unranked team at home.

Since that game the Tide has won two in a row in the series, winning by an average margin of 45 points.

ULM opened the season with a 29-0 win over Saint Francis of the FCS ranks last week, coming into the game with a 1-0 record.

Saturday’s game has a kickoff time set for 6:45 p.m. CT and will air on SEC Network.
