No. 6 Alabama will face its fourth consecutive ranked opponent this weekend, heading back home to take on No. 11 Tennessee in a rivalry game on Saturday night.

It’s the latest entry in the Third Saturday in October rivalry that was owned by the Crimson Tide for 15 straight years from 2007-2021. The Volunteers broke the losing streak in 2022, and since then have won two of the last three games in the series, though both wins have come in Knoxville.

Tennessee has had a strong first half of the season, going 5-1 through its first six games with a 2-1 record in SEC play. Its two conference wins came against Mississippi State and Arkansas, a 2-game win streak since dropping its league opener to Georgia in overtime.

Alabama (5-1, 3-0 SEC) is still hot following its Week 1 loss, currently the winner of five straight games including three in a row against ranked opponents.

Kickoff between the Alabama and Tennessee is set for 6:30 p.m. CT on ABC.
