Alabama running back Jam Miller exited Saturday night’s game against Auburn in the fourth quarter after his right leg was rolled up on during a run. He did not return to the game, and was seen in the sideline on crutches following his injury.

After the 27-20 win, Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer provided an update on Miller’s status:

“With Jam, I know he’s got a lower-leg injury,” DeBoer said. “We’ll have to evaluate that here, get more information on Monday.”

Miller was in the midst of one of his best games of the season. Before the injury he carried the ball 15 times for 83 yards, his third-highest rushing total in a single game this year. He also added two catches for 12 yards, bringing his scrimmage yard total for the game up to 95.

It’s been a tumultuous senior year for Miller as he’s dealt with a plethora of injuries. He missed the first three games of the year with a dislocated collarbone, then suffered a concussion in October against Missouri. His status for the SEC Championship Game next weekend will remain in question until UA reveals more information about the severity of his injury.

The SEC title game between No. 10 Alabama and No. 4 Georgia will kick off at 3 p.m. CT on ABC from Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
