Alabama Football listed three starters as questionable on its initial availability report for the SEC Championship Game on Wednesday night: running back Jam Miller, tight end Josh Cuevas and offensive lineman Kam Dewberry.

During his Thursday press conference before the conference title game, Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer provided an update on where each player stands entering the team’s final days of preparation.

“Jam, still questionable. We’ll see here in the next couple of days,” DeBoer said. “Kam Dewberry’s coming along here as the week progresses. Josh Cuevas, same as Jam. We’ll kind of see here at the end of the week.

“I know all of those guys a couple weeks down the road will be definitely good to go. But here, one week out from last week’s game, some of the injuries that have happened, we’re not quite sure yet. They’re coming along, they’re doing everything they can.”

Miller left in the fourth quarter of the Auburn game with a lower-leg injury and was seen on crutches on the sideline after the game.

Cuevas has missed Alabama’s last two games, being hurt in practice ahead of the game against Eastern Illinois on Nov. 22.

Dewberry played the entirety of the Auburn game last week without injury.

Kickoff between Alabama and Georgia in the SEC Championship Game is set for 3 p.m. CT on ABC on Saturday, Dec. 6.
