TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Alabama offensive lineman Kam Dewberry suffered an injury during the first half of the LSU game and did not play again. But Dewberr’s undisclosed injury seems to be minor, and the left guard isn’t expected to miss any more time, per coach Kalen DeBoer.

“I expect Kam to be ready to go,” DeBoer said on Monday. “He got dinged up a little bit in the game, but he’s looking good. He might be early in the week held up some, but should be fine as the week goes on, as far as what I see right now and hear, as well.”

Dewberry started the LSU game but only played 12 snaps, according to Pro Football Focus. He was replaced by Williams Sanders, who logged 22 snaps. Alabama actually ended up utilizing three players at the interior position, as Geno VanDeMark led the trio with 30 snaps. VanDeMark was back in action after missing the South Carolina game because of an injury.

Dewberry, a transfer from Texas A&M, has started eight of the Crimson Tide’s nine games this season and has played in every contest. The 6-foot-4, 332-pound lineman has played 230 reps in pass protection this season, per PFF, and has allowed six pressures and one sack.

Next up for Alabama is a top-15 matchup with Oklahoma at Bryant-Denny Stadium. The Week 12 game against the Sooners is scheduled to kick off at 2:30 p.m. CT and broadcast on ABC.
