Qua Russaw injury update: Alabama LB exits Georgia game

ATHENS, Ga. — Alabama Wolf linebacker Qua Russaw exited Saturday’s game at Georgia with a lower-extremity injury, according to a UA Athletics spokesperson. Russaw went to the visiting locker room at Sanford Stadium to be further evaluated and is questionable to return.
*** Update: Russaw has been ruled out for the rest of the second half, per Alabama.
Russaw eventually returned to the Alabama sideline but was out of uniform. After the game, which UA won 24-21, Russaw was spotted wearing a walking boot and using crutches.
Russaw started the road game at Wolf linebacker. With Russaw not on the field and Jah-Marien Latham (neck) not making the trip, Alabama will likely turn to Yhonzae Pierre, Noah Carter and true freshman Justin Hill at the edge-rushing position in place of the injured players.
