TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- The Alabama football team took the field at Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday for its annual A-Day Game. It was the first time the Crimson Tide has played in front of fans since their Sugar Bowl win over Kansas State on New Year's Eve. The Crimson Team (first-team defense) was able to come away with a 27-21 win in the scrimmage, too. Here are our initial takeaways from Saturday's scrimmage:
