Alabama’s playoff hopes took a massive hit with a loss at Oklahoma, but it’s Auburn week and that game still matters. Especially in-state. Not only bragging rights are at stake, but also the Tide is set to host a massive number of recruits for the last regular season game of the year.

In a change to the traditional signing day schedule, recruits will now sign just a few days after the end of the regular season. The Early Signing Period this year will be on Dec. 4, which is the Wednesday after the Iron Bowl. Alabama currently sits at 21 commitments with multiple targets still remaining ahead of signing day.
