The Alabama men’s basketball team moved up in the polls after its win over Illinois.

The Crimson Tide defeated the Fighting Illini, 90-86, in Chicago and marked the second top-10 win of the 2025-26 season. Alabama also defeated then-No. 5 St. John’s on November 8.

In the Coach Poll, the Tide (3-1) moved up two spots to No. 9.

In the AP Top 25 Poll, Alabama climbed three spots to No. 8.

Alabama is set to face another ranked team tonight, as it takes on No. 10/12 Gonzaga in Las Vegas’ Players Era Festival. The Bulldogs mark the fourth straight ranked team for Tide Hoops.
