Alabama football lost at home for the first time in over two years on Saturday night, falling 23-21 to Oklahoma.

The loss snaps an 8-game win streak for the Crimson Tide and brings the team’s record to 8-2 on the season 6-1 in SEC play. The national polls responded by dropping Alabama, coming in at No. 10 in the US LBM Coaches Poll and the AP Poll.

The College Football Playoff selection committee will release their third batch of rankings on Tuesday night. In their rankings last week, Alabama was No. 4.

This Saturday the Tide will be back at home for the third consecutive week, set to face FCS opponent Eastern Illinois. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. CT on ESPN+.
