Where Alabama is ranked in national polls after win over LSU

Alabama football took down LSU inside Bryant-Denny Stadium over the weekend, beating the Tigers 20-9 for the its eighth straight win this season.

The Crimson Tide (8-1, 6-0 SEC) once again stayed put in the national polls after the three undefeated teams above it also held serve this week. The US LBM Coaches Poll and AP Poll once again ranked Alabama at No. 4.

The College Football Playoff selection committee will release their second batch of rankings on Tuesday night. In their initial rankings last week, Alabama was also No. 4.

This Saturday, the Crimson Tide will be back at home and play host to No. 11 Oklahoma (7-2, 3-2 SEC) after the Sooners were idle this past weekend. It’s an opportunity for Alabama to right the wrongs of last season’s disastrous trip to Norman that kept the team out of the CFP.

Kickoff between Alabama and Oklahoma is set for 2:30 p.m. on ABC.
