Where Alabama is ranked in national polls ahead of matchup with LSU

Alabama football was idle over the weekend, the team’s second and final bye week of the season.
The Crimson Tide stayed put in the national polls after a things went as expected for teams ranked in the top five. In the USM LBM Coaches Poll, Alabama is once again ranked No. 4. The AP Poll will be released later this afternoon.
This is also the final set of polls that will come out before the College Football Playoff selection committee begins releasing their weekly rankings that will be used to select the field for the CFP. The first set of rankings by the committee will be released this Tuesday at 7 p.m. on ESPN.
Alabama (7-1, 5-0 SEC) will play host to LSU this weekend for its first game after firing head coach Brian Kelly. The Tigers (5-3, 2-3 SEC) will be led by interim coach Frank Wilson.
Kickoff for Alabama vs. LSU is set for 6:30 p.m. on ABC this Saturday.
