Where Alabama is ranked in the polls after blowout win over ULM

Alabama got back on track this week, picking up its first win of the season with a 73-0 blowout over ULM inside Bryant-Denny Stadium.

The win, coupled with some upset losses across the rest of college football, helped Kalen DeBoer‘s team moved up in the polls headed into Week 2. After being ranked No. 20 by the Coaches Poll and No. 21 by the AP Poll last week, the Crimson Tide moved up to No. 18 in the Coaches and No. 19 in the AP.

Alabama is one of 11 SEC teams ranked in the AP this week, behind No. 3 LSU, No. 6 Georgia, No. 7 Texas, No. 11 South Carolina, No. 13 Oklahoma, No. 15 Tennessee, No. 16 Texas A&M and No. 17 Ole Miss while ahead of No. 24 Auburn and No. 25 Missouri.

The Tide’s loss on the season came at the hands of No. 10 Florida State, while ranked games remain against the likes of Georgia, Missouri, Tennessee, South Carolina, LSU, Oklahoma and Auburn.

Next week Alabama will welcome a non-conference Power 4 opponent into Bryant-Denny Stadium in Wisconsin. Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. CT and will air on ABC.
