The College Football Playoff selection committee revealed its fourth top-25 rankings of the 2025 season on Tuesday evening, and Alabama stayed put at No. 10 with a 9-2 (6-1 SEC) record.

If the playoff happened this weekend, No. 10-seed Alabama would face No. 7-seed Ole Miss in Oxford. The winner of the first-round matchup would advance to play No. 2-seed Indiana.

The Crimson Tide is still the third-highest-ranked team with two losses, behind No. 8 Oklahoma and No. 9 Notre Dame. Alabama has three ranked wins over No. 4 Georgia, No. 14 Vanderbilt and No. 19 Tennessee, while one of its two losses this season was to the Sooners.

Alabama will next travel to unranked Auburn to conclude the regular season. A win over the rival Tigers would clinch a spot in the SEC Championship Game for the Tide. Win both games, and UA will make the 12-team playoff field. But beat Auburn and lose in Atlanta, and the chances of Alabama being in the playoff drop to 59%, according to ESPN’s Playoff Predictor.

The penultimate CFP rankings will be revealed on Tuesday, Dec. 2, at 6 p.m. CT (ESPN). Then, Selection Sunday is scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 7, with the field being unveiled at 11 a.m.
