It’s official — Wilson Zierer is an Auburn Tiger. The 4-star offensive lineman from Rabun Gap, Ga., signed with Auburn Wednesday on the first day of the Early Signing Period.

THE ZIERER FILE

Position: Offensive line (Tackle)

Height/Weight: 6-foot-6, 280 pounds

On3 Industry Ranking: (90.21) No. 290 overall, No. 26 offensive tackle, No. 39 player in Georgia

Commitment date: July 17, 2025

Chose Auburn over: Alabama and Florida State

Time of enrollment: January

Notable: Zierer’s recruitment was straight-forward. He went through his summer official visits, compiled his top three schools and announced his decision on social media. He visited Auburn throughout the fall and it became evident he’d sign with the Tigers.

Quotes: “As a kid, you hope and dream to play here and now I know I’m going to play here in a year or so, so it’s good.”

“Seeing my brother play in front of 85,000 people at Auburn at 14 years old made playing for Auburn a goal for me. I saw the Iron Bowl as a kid and the fans were crazy. I have now been to a lot of games and the fans at Auburn are alwasy fired up and loud. It is a crazy experience each time and I love how the fans support and interact with the players.”

PINK’S ANALYSIS

Early on, Zierer did not quite give off the appearance of an SEC offensive tackle, but the foundation can has always been there. As his body has developed, he is beginning to add mass to his frame. He’s still slender at 6-foot-6 and 280 pounds, but has immense room to grow into what is a strong frame (much like his brother, former Auburn Tiger, Kilian Zierer). Wilson Zierer should be north of 300 pounds at Auburn.

Zierer is a top-tier athlete. He operates with little to no stiffness, which is tough to find in a build like his. He’s got high hips and can bend well. His skill set is easily one of the most athletic of all offensive linemen in the class of 2026. Zierer is also a track guy. He’s got great balance and body control, which will be a perfect transition to playing tackle on the SEC level. There is not enough to be said about his athleticism.

I think Zierer is more SEC ready than a lot of offensive linemen at this stage of their development. Is he ready to start year one? That is difficult to do, but if he continues to fill out, he has a chance. Another 15-20 pounds will get him in the appropriate playing shape. Auburn will be thrilled to work with such an athletic offensive lineman as soon as he steps in.
