Barber removed from team

AUBURN | Redshirt freshman linebacker D.J. Barber was removed from Auburn’s team Wednesday, two days after his arrest on three charges including felony drug trafficking.
“D.J. Barber is no longer a member of our football team due to a violation of team rules,” Hugh Freeze tells AuburnSports.com.
Barber, who signed with the Tigers out of the 2024 class and redshirted last fall, was also charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
