Thursday could be a big day for Auburn.
Damari Alston certainly thinks so.
Alston, Auburn’s 4-star running back commitment from College Park, Ga., expects the Tigers’ class to grow.
That’s good news for Auburn fans as two of the top targets are scheduled to announce their commitments.
Tre Donaldson up first
Two-sport star Tre Donaldson will announce his decision at 1:15 p.m. CT.
Donaldson, who has offers from Auburn in both basketball and football, is deciding between Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Alabama, Georgia Tech and Ole Miss.
Auburn is believed to be the team to beat.
Donaldson is Auburn’s top target at point guard in the 2022 class and a standout safety in football. He would be considered a commitment in both sports, the first in Auburn’s ’22 basketball class and 10th in football.
Donaldson apparently agreed with Alston, retweeting the running back Wednesday night.

4-star WR Omari Kelly
Omari Kelly, the top wide receiver in the state, will announce his decision at 5 p.m. CT
Kelly, from Hewitt-Trussville, is deciding between Auburn, Alabama and Kentucky. He has official offers from each of the three schools.
Kelly visited Auburn twice during the summer, including a recent trip to Big Cat.
Like Donaldson, Auburn is considered the frontrunner.
Kelly would be the 11th commitment in Auburn’s class and second wide receiver, joining Texas speedster Jay Fair.
