The Florida Gators wrapped up the first of three huge recruiting weekends this summer this past Sunday. There were a total of 16 names on campus that weekend, with many of those names top targets for the UF staff. One of those names was Milton (Fla.) 4-star safety Kaiden Hall, who committed to the Florida Gators on Tuesday.

Kaiden Hall has a longtime bond with Florida

Florida initially offered Kaiden Hall between his freshman and sophomore seasons. It’s allowed Florida to host him on campus multiple times. Florida head coach Billy Napier has been hands-on with Hall, and it’s shown him how much he is wanted.

“He’s always telling me any time I can come down here and to make sure I talk to him,” Hall previously told Gators Online regarding Napier. “He is one of my favorite head coaches. He’s down to earth. Every time I come down, he finds a chance to talk to me.”

That tight-knit relationship with Napier, as well as the connection made with assistant coach Vinnie Sunseri since he joined the staff, has made Hall very comfortable in Gainesville.

“He’s a really good coach,” Hall said of Sunseri. “He was under Bill Belichick in the league, then he was under Nick Saban while he was in college. He clearly knows a bunch. We didn’t watch a lot of film, but he talked about the defenses, some of the schemes, (that) I’ll be a top priority for the Gators.

The Florida Gators took the lead for Kaiden Hall on the OV

Kaiden Hall took an official visit to Florida this past weekend. He’s made numerous trips to campus since the staff offered back in 2023. The Gators were a consistent team that Hall pointed out as being heavily in the mix to land him. However, it was the official visit that sealed the deal.

“This visit definitely put them at the top,” Hall told Gators Online. “This time, I was around the players more, so I got a deeper insight of what they do outside of football. It was a great overall trip.”

Florida’s consistent approach to let Kaiden Hall know how much he’s wanted also played a role in this commitment.

“They’ve shown me I’m a top priority for them, top at their list,” Hall said of the Gators. “They treated me like one as well, so definitely that.”

Kaiden Hall is commitment No. 4 for the Florida Gators

With Kaiden Hall now in the fold, the Florida Gators now sit with four verbal commitments in the 2026 class. He joins Tampa (Fla.) Jesuit 4-star quarterback Will Griffin, Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy 3-star IOL G’Nivre Carr, and Cleveland (OH) Glenville 3-star defensive lineman Jamir Perez.

The On3 Industry, a weighted average of the four major recruiting services, ranks Kaiden Hall as the nation’s No. 208 Overall player.
