The Florida Gators will welcome approximately 18 recruiting targets to campus on Friday for official visits. Of the large cluster of visitors, five of those names are offensive line targets. It’s a big opportunity for first-year defensive back coaches Deron Wilson, Vinnie Sunseri, and the rest of UF’s staff to capitalize, or at the very least, make a lasting impression as the summer continues. This is one of the most stacked position groups in town this weekend.

Here is an overview of those five names at the position expected to be in Florida this weekend on official visits.

FULL WEEKEND VISITORS LIST

DEFENSIVE BACK OFFICIAL VISITORS (May 30-June 1)

Bralan Womack

5-star S Bralan Womack, Brandon (MS) Hartfield Academy
The Florida Gaotrs quickly made a rise in the recruitment of Bralan Womack after the addition of new assistant coach Vinnie Sunseri. Florida went from not under consideration, to having a seat at the table. UF is battling Auburn, Ohio State, and Texas A&M, and he will visit all three of those programs after his time in The Swamp. Ohio State viewed the team to beat heading into offical visits. He plans to announce his commitment on August 23.

CJ Bronaugh Florida Gators

4-star CB CJ Bronaugh (Nebraska commit), Winter Garden (Fla.) Windermere
The Florida Gators quickly started to trend up with CJ Bronaugh after extending an offer in March. He’s been committed to Nebraska since Novemeber of last year. However, the door has remained opened to others as they continue to press. After visiting Florida this weekend, Bronaugh plans to see Nebraska, FSU, and Penn State in that order. UF and FSU seem to be the biggest threats to flip him. There is some confidence on the Florida Gators end in their current standing.

Kaiden Hall
Kaiden Hall (Keith Niebuhr/On3)

4-star S Kaiden Hall, Milton (Fla.)
A longtime target for the Florida Gators after Billy Napier and his staff offered in 2023. In total, Hall has seven trips to UF’s campus. UF has kept constant communication since the offer. Alabama and Florida appear to be in the best position heading into official visits. The Gators get the first shot at Hall this weekend, and then he plans to see Florida State, Alabama, and Oklahoma in that order. Hall told Gators Online he’s got the best relationship with UF currently.

CJ Hester

4-star CB CJ Hester, Cocoa (Fla.)
CJ Hester has been high on the Florida Gators since they offered last year. He immediately put UF as his No. 1 school following the offer. There was a short time of uncertainty on Hester’s end once former assistant coach Will Harris left for Miami. However, new assistant Deron Wilson quickly prioritized Hester, and the Gators once again sit in the No. 1 spot heading into the weekend. Hester has a commitment date set for July 1, and all signs point to the Florida Gators landing him.

Jaydin Broadnax
4-star DB Jaydin Broadnax (Chad Simmons/On3)

4-star CB/S Jaydin Broadnax (Louisville commit), Boca Raton (Fla.) West Boca
Despite making a commitment to the Louisville Cardinals in March, the Florida Gators have remained in contact with Jaydin Broadnax. He’s still open to the UF staff, and recently told Gators Online he speaks with UF assistant Vinnie Sunseri and head coach Billy Napier on a daily basis. It feels like the Gators are still a factor here.
