Florida Gators WR Muizz Tounkara added to Friday's injury report
The Florida Gators issued their initial availability report Friday night along with Texas. It’s the third of four injury reports that will be released before the Gators (1-3) face the No. 9 Longhorns (3-1) on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. on ESPN.
A new addition to Florida’s injury report is true freshman wide receiver Muizz Tounkara. The Texas native was listed as questionable against his home state team on Friday. Tounkara has two catches for 12 yards in four appearances.
Tounkara has been in the rotation this year, but he was projected to be the No. 3 receiver at the X position on Saturday with fellow freshman Dallas Wilson making his season debut and senior starter J.Michael Sturdivant back from a concussion.
Against Texas, Florida sophomore quarterback DJ Lagway will boast the most weapons he’s had at WR in 2025 with redshirt sophomore Aidan Mizell also available along with freshman Vernell Brown III, redshirt sophomore Eugene Wilson III, redshirt freshman TJ Abrams, Sturdivant and Wilson.
“Aidan’s healthy, Dallas is healthy. J-Mike is back. Tre and VB, and then we’ve got (more) guys. TJ Abrams.” UF coach Billy Napier said on Wednesday. “We’ve had the two or three of the main guys, but we’ve been missing a piece or two each week — and that’s normal. But we got the full gauntlet out there ready to go for Saturday.”

Florida has a total of seven players out against Texas, including redshirt senior running back Ja’Kobi Jackson and a pair of key defensive backs.
The Longhorns have six players on their availably report and sophomore running back CJ Baxter Jr. was ruled out on Friday.
