The only times the two teams have met in their home stadiums was in 1993 when Florida dominated Georgia in Gainesville, 52-14. It was much of the same in Athens in 1994 when the Gators beat the Bulldogs 52-17.
Since then, the teams have only met in Jacksonville and will play there again in 2023.
The only other game on the 2022 schedule for Florida with an announced game time is the season finale at Florida State, which will be on ABC at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 25.
CBS also announced that it will have two Saturdays with two televised games: Oct. 8 and Nov. 12.
