Gators Devon Manuel arrested, facing DUI, concealed weapon charges

Reserve Florida Gators offensive tackle Devon Manuel was arrested early Friday morning in Gainesville and faces charges for misdemeanor DUI and felony possession of a concealed weapon, according to police records.

Manuel’s arrest took place on Southwest 34th Street shortly after midnight, according to the arrest report. He faces charges of one count of felony possession of a concealed weapon/electric weapon and one count of misdemeanor DUI.

Manuel is a redshirt senior who transferred to UF from Arkansas last year. He played in only three games at tackle in a backup role in 2024, logging 58 snaps in total. Manuel received an 82.9 pass block grade and a 70.2 offense grade according to Pro Football Focus. He has been vying for a larger role in 2025, though Bryce Lovett is the projected starter over Manuel at right tackle.
