—Overall, it’s a quality group of recruits expected on campus. Five-star safety Bralan Womack is the headliner but at last check 11 4-stars also will visit this weekend. Meanwhile, the visitors list includes three players committed to other schools.

—With Womack, Gators co-defensive coordinator/safeties coach Vinnie Sunseri is keeping Florida in it. But it might take a lot to overtake Ohio State. Auburn and Texas A&M are two other schools involved worth watching. Can UF make a move this weekend?

—Four-star defensive lineman Vodney Cleveland of Birmingham (Ala.) Parker is one of Florida’s top targets this recruiting cycle. He’s a former Alabama commit. As he enters his Florida Gators official visit it feels like two programs have pulled away from the pack.

—The Gators appear to be in a strong spot for 4-star defensive lineman JaReylan McCoy of Tupelo (Miss.). Who might be Florida’s main competition? And when is he expected to reveal his commitment decision?

—Might it be a Gators-Hurricanes battle for 4-star tight end  Heze Kent of Brunswick (Ga.). Find out what possibly could give Florida the advantage in this recruitment.

—Florida is the clear team to beat with 4-star cornerback CJ Hester of Cocoa (Fla.). Blake goes into detail on what has given the Gators the edge for this important in-state target.

—Tennessee has gotten some picks to land Ocala, Fla., native G’Nivre Carr, one of the top interior offensive linemen in the South. But are the Gators actually the program to beat?

—Who might commit this weekend? Blake has his eyes on an in-state offensive lineman with ties to the UF program. At this time, the Gators enter a big official visit run with only two commitments on the board.
