Although it was somewhat expected, the Gators suffered a major blow on Thursday when running back Trevor Etienne entered the NCAA Transfer Portal.
Etienne, a rising junior from Jennings, Louisiana, finished second on the team in rushing yards both in 2022 (719) and 2023 (753). His eight rushing touchdowns, however, led the team this past season.
Florida supporters were obviously not thrilled with today’s news and were quick to share their thoughts.
