Todd Golden and the Florida Gators picked up another key win Tuesday and for those scoring at home the team now has six victories in its last seven games.
But it didn’t come easy.
The Gators led by as many as 20 points, then held off a furious LSU rally.
Final score: Florida 82, Tigers 80
Florida now is 17-7 overall, 7-4 in the SEC. Guard Walter Clayton led the Gators with 21 points.
This was the second time in their last three home games the Gators lost a second-half lead of 20 or more points but still hung on to win. It happened against Georgia in late January, too.
