Two Florida Gators make the On3 Freshman All-American list

On3 released it’s True Freshman All-American team on Monday morning. Led by On3’s Clark Brooks, Rivals National Scout Cody Bellaire and Rivals Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power, the newcomers you should know for the 2025 season and beyond have been chosen. These talented players will have a chance to make an immediate impact this upcoming season. The Florida Gators had a pair of freshman make the cut, with wide receiver Dallas Wilson and edge Jayden Woods included in this years group.
Both Florida Gators true freshman have turned heads early
Both Florida freshman included on the On3 True Freshman All-Ameircan list were midyear enrollees. That allowed them to go through spring football with the team. Ever since then, the intel suggests that both quickly emerged as standout underclassmen.
Freshman wide receiver Dallas Wilson capped off his first spring setting records in the Orange and Blue spring game. Furthermore, Wilson ended that intersquad scrimmage catching 10 passes for 195 yards and two touchdowns. He owns an imposing frame, that is college ready at 6-foot-3, 195 pounds. However, he’s also twitchy for his size, and is able to make plays happen after the catch. Wilson was working with the starting offense during training camp, but has been dealing with a lower leg injury. Since joining the team, he’s impressed the staff, and even his teammates.
“I think for anybody, they always want the highest expectation. You want to live up to it. He’s given us no doubt that he’s gonna be who he says he’s gonna be,” Florida Gators TE Hayden Hansen said of Wilson. “Every day he shows up day in, day out.
I think the best part about his game though is he’s super humble. He’s humble enough to listen to feedback and go out there and use it and just go make plays. I’m really excited for him.”

Florida Gators freshman edge Jayden Woods has also made big impressions on people in Gainesville on the field and in the weight room. Woods was a state champion in the shot put and discus in high school, and has already set positional records in the weight room as a true freshman. Woods set team records in the edge room in both the squat (530 pounds) and clean (365 pounds). He also did this during winter workouts — before his high school prom. Wilson’s Florida teammates are taking notice, especially offensive lineman Bryce Lovett, who has seen Woods firsthand in practice.
“His speed. His get off, ball get off. … He just got here, but he’s getting off the ball like he knows when the ball is going to be snapped,” Lovett said. “He is not a freshman. That is what I say. I don’t know what he was doing in Kansas before he came here, but he is strong, fast, smart.”
