The Florida State community has been invited to come together to celebrate the life of legendary head baseball coach Mike Martin, and the memorial service will take place on the field that bears his name.

On Friday morning, one day after Martin passed away at the age of 79, FSU announced it will hold the service at noon on Saturday, Feb. 10. It will take place on Mike Martin Field at Dick Howser Stadium.

Martin retired in 2019 after 40 seasons as the winningest coach in college baseball history. He coached the Seminoles to 40 straight NCAA tournament appearances and 17 trips to the College World Series.

Once again, the memorial service is set for Saturday, Feb. 10, at noon, at Dick Howser Stadium.
