We’re in the final week of the 2025 regular season, and the College Football Playoff rankings are becoming more and more important. The latest top 25 is out and there’s no change for Georgia. The Bulldogs are holding steady in the No. 4 spot.

Ohio State is ranked No. 1 followed by Indiana at No. 2. Those two teams control their own destiny when it comes to the Big10 championship. So long as the Buckeyes beat Michigan and the Hoosiers beat Purdue, they’ll square off in a one vs. two matchup in the conference title game. Texas A&M, which will play Texas on Friday, November 28, ranks No. 3.

Texas Tech rounds out the top five with Oregon jumping to No. 6. Ole Miss, a team Georgia beat 43-35 in October, ranks No. 7. Oklahoma, Notre Dame, and Alabama, in that order, round out the top 10, giving the SEC five of the nation’s top 10 teams.

Georgia has a 1-1 record vs. the College Football Playoff rankings top 10, beating the Rebels but losing to Alabama. The Bulldogs also have wins over two other top 20 teams. Texas is ranked No. 16 and Tennessee is now No. 19. Each of those teams have a chance to improve their resumes during rivalry week. The Longhorns host Texas A&M and Tennessee will host No. 14 Vanderbilt.

The Bulldogs, with the help of Heisman Trophy dark horse Gunner Stockton, have reeled off seven straight wins since falling to the Crimson Tide in September. After starting the season with wins over Marshall, Austin Peay and Tennessee, Alabama dropped Georgia’s record to 3-1. UGA bounced back with wins over Kentucky, Auburn, and Ole Miss in October. It took down Florida to kick off November before blowing out Mississippi State, Texas, and Charlotte, moving its record to 10-1.

Next up for the Bulldogs is a Black Friday (November 28) showdown with No. 23 Georgia Tech inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium. That kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET, and UGA is favored by 13.5 points.
