The Big Picture
Georgia has already landed four-star running back Jae Lamar in the 2026 class. Georgia has made a tradition of stacking talented running backs in single classes and creating a tandem on the field in Athens.
The Bulldogs have a lot of running backs in their current running back room. Rising sophomore Nate Frazier will get the opportunity to become the lead back in 2025.
He will have another year of eligibility in 2026. The Bulldogs also Chauncey Bowens and Dwight Phillips. Roderick Robinson is entering his redshirt sophomore season. Georgia also has freshman Bo Walker and senior transfer Josh McCray.
Cooper would add another versatile playmaker for the future along with Lamar. Georgia needs playmakers but immediate playing time may be a long shot for whoever is looking for it.
