Georgia coasts to 10th victory of season, beating Charlotte 35-3

Georgia jumped all over Charlotte on Saturday and coasted to a comfortable XXX win, it’s 10th of the 2025 season. The Bulldogs scored 28 points in the first half, seven more in the third quarter, and emptied the bench.
Gunner Stockton exited early in the second quarter after completing 17 of 21 passes for 196 yards. He didn’t throw or run for a touchdown, but he tossed his fourth interception of the season. Georgia rushed for five touchdowns on the day with Bo Walker, in the first extensive action of his career, reached the end zone three times. Nate Frazier punched the ball into the end zone twice.
The Bulldogs did not reach the end zone on their first possession, but they found it four straight times after that. Frazier scored from two yards out to open the scoring. He also finished off the next Georgia possession with a seven-yard score.
Then it turned into the Walker show. He capped off the next two Georgia possessions with touchdowns. The first was a 15-yard run and the second was from 12 yards out. Peyton Woodring connected on all four PATs to stake the Bulldogs to a 28-0 lead.
Charlotte broke the 28-0 run after Stockton threw an interception that set the 49er offense up at the Georgia 37-yard line. The visitors hit a 42-yard field goal that glanced off the upright to end the first half.

Stockton led the offense for one series in the second half, a five-play, 60-yard drive that ended with Walker running it in from three yards out. After that, Ryan Puglisi took the reins and the reserves came into the game on both sides of the ball.
While the defense did its job, keeping Charlotte off of the scoreboard, the offense couldn’t get it going. The Bulldog reserves dropped three passes with Puglisi at quarterback. One of those ended a promising drive in the game’s final quarter, turning the ball back over to the 49ers on downs.
The Georgia defense tallied two sacks, one from Chris Cole and another from Elijah Griffin, who added an additional half tackle for loss. Next up for the Bulldogs is a trip to Atlanta to take on Georgia Tech. The two teams will square off on Black Friday, November 28, inside Mercedes Benz Stadium. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
