Georgia has continued to attack the Peach State’s borders by recruiting some of the best in-state prospects. The class of 2026 has 15 commits that hail from Georgia at the moment. The Bulldogs currently hold the No. 2 overall class ranking behind USC in the 2026 Industry Football Team Recruiting Rankings.

Some of those names are feeling the preseason buzz around the state. The Atlanta Touchdown Club announced its Preseason All-Star Team.

Georgia had nine commits represented on the preseason squad. Five-star tight end Kaiden Prothro locked down a tight end spot. Four-star wide receivers Brady Marchese and Craig Dandridge were both included.

Georgia also has two offensive line commits honored in four-star Graham Houston and three-star interior offensive lineman Zykie Helton.

On the defensive side of the ball, new defensive line commit Anthony Lonon, four-star edge Khamari Brooks, four-star safeties Tyriq Green and Jordan Smith joined punter Wade Register as the defensive commits on the list.

There were also a few key Georgia targets in the 2027 class on the list. Five-star EDGEs Ladamion Guyton, DJ Jacobs and four-star running back Brayden Tyson also made the list.

This group of players will be honored at a banquet on Aug. 21. The high school season kicks off for real next week, beginning with the Corky Kell-Dave Hunter Classic, which begins on Wednesday.
