Mobile (Ala.) Cottage Hill Christian Academy four-star linebacker Shadarius Toodle has jumped into Georgia’s 2026 class.

The No. 186 overall prospect in the 2026 On3 Rankings has flipped his commitment from Auburn to Georgia. Toodle is Georgia’s 19th commitment in the class of 2026.

Georgia hosted Toodle back on May 16 for his official visit. The Bulldogs made a splash in his recruitment during that visit. Butkus Award winner Jalon Walker was in attendance and made a few convincing pitches to Toodle during the visit.

Toodle remained committed to Auburn despite making a statement, saying Georgia was ‘number one’ on his board following the visit.

“I feel like Georgia is number one on my list right now, but I’m going to go on my official visits and see,” Toodle told DawgsHQ back on May 19.

Toodle got a good look at Georgia as a whole during his official visit.

“It was a great visit for me and my family,” Toodle said after the visit. “I got to talk to coach Kirby Smart, coach Schumann and coach Chidera Uzo-Diribe about how they feel like I fit in their defense. They say they think that I’m a player like Jalon Walker. I can play on the outside and the inside and show off my versatility and for me to have the best chance to make it to the NFL.”

He took trips to Michigan (May 30), Baylor (June 6) and to Auburn (June 13). He took all his information in and made the call to jump into Georgia’s class.

The Bulldogs have now landed seven commits in the month of June. More could be in play as a long list of Georgia targets are set to announce this week.
