Are you ready for some Georgia football? If not, you’d better find a way to get there because it’s coming. The Bulldogs will host UT-Martin on Saturday (6 p.m. ET on SEC Network+). It should be a ceremonious day with Uga XI (Boom) enjoying his first game and the National Championship Trophy presentation. Kirbhy Smart’s eighth UGA team should make quick work of the Nighthawks but they’ll be dealing with some injuries. Below, DawgsHQ shares the injury report, as we know it.

Georgia players OUT for UT-Martin…

RB Branson Robinson (knee): The bruising sophomore is done for the season with a torn patella tendon. He’s expected to make a full recovery but won’t be back until 2024.

TE Lawson Luckie (ankle): The first preseason scrimmage was unkind to Luckie, who suffered a high-ankle sprain. He had tight-rope surgery to correct it and is quickly on the mend. Still, he’s probably out for at least two games.

WR De’Nylon Morrissette (groin): After not joining the team until classes started a couple weeks ago, Morrissette has been dealing with the soft-tissue ailment. He won’t play against the Skyhawks and might have been serving as suspension had he been healthy.

WR Jackson Meets (foot/ankle): The junior from Alabama is currently in a walking boot but is expected back in the next month or so. He’s a big-time contributor for the Bulldogs on special teams.

UGA players DOUBTFUL for UT-Martin…

ILB Raylen Wilson (knee): The former five-star prospect suffered a hyper-extended knee in the first Georgia scrimmage. He didn’t sustain any structural damage and is expected back in the near future.

DB Joenel Aguero (hamstring): Aguero was pushing for some playing time before suffering a soft-tissue injury prior to the second Georgia scrimmage. He’s improving but will probably have to sit this one out.

CB Chris Peal (turf toe): The North Carolina native arrived on campus in the summer and impressed right away. Camp, however, was largely a wash due to a turf toe injury that has lingered a bit.

Georgia players QUESTIONABLE FOR UT-Martin…

RB Daijun Edwards (knee): Our intel and Smart’s comments indicate that Edwards is probably healthy enough to play. With that said, it’s unclear whether the Georgia staff will run him out there on Saturday. He might be held out for precautionary reasons.

WR Cole Speer (undisclosed): We’ve spotted the sophomore wideout working off to the side in recent media-viewing periods but we’re not sure what he’s dealing with at this point. Georgia could use him on special teams.

ILB Smael Mondon (foot): Foot surgery in the spring has limited Mondon throughout camp but he’s recovering quickly based on Smart’s comments. He’s another guy who is probably healthy enough to play on Saturday but we kind of expect Georgia to hold him out.

CB Kamari Lassiter (foot): Here’s another guy who could play if necessary but there’s a chance he’s held out to allow at least one more week of healing. Lassiter has gotten plenty of scrimmage reps this preseason but the foot soreness keeps lingering.

DB A.J Harris (undisclosed): The freshman from Alabama didn’t participate in the second preseason scrimmage and we’re told he hasn’t done much since. We don’t expect to see him out there on Saturday but it wouldn’t shock us.

UGA players PROBABLE for UT-Martin…

RB Kendall Milton (hamstring): We expect Milton to play as of right now. He has missed or been limited for most of the preseason with a hamstring injury but recent intel suggests he has turned a corner. If healthy and available, he’ll probably be RB1.

WR Ladd McConkey (back): Everything we’ve heard suggests that McConkey will be available and start. With that said, common sense says Georgia will have him in a snap count with the long game in mind.

DL Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins (foot): The South Carolina native was limited to start camp but his workload has increased steadily. We expect to see him in action on Saturday even if he’s on a snap count of sorts.

S Dan Jackson (hamstring): A foot injury ended Jackson’s 2022 season way early and a hamstring has bothered him this camp. Smart says he has been practicing of late and that’s good news because Georgia might need him in the DIME package.

S David Daniel-Sisavahn (toe): It was Daniel-Sisavahn who stepped up last season when Jackson went down. He was the Bulldogs’ sixth defensive back at that time. He’s expected to be available on Saturday both on special teams and in the DIME package if needed.
